Roast Chicken, with carrots and homegrown celeriac and onions

I cooked it in a Schlemertopf, and we had it pot au feu style, with the broth and everything.  Perfect for a perfectly dreary winter day.

Paula, just READING this gave me the warm comfort food feeling. Also wanted to say I very much appreciated your "voice of reason" type comment on Jenna's blog regarding the article in the Guardian. You always seem to hit the nail on the head there and say just what needs to be said.
